Twilight listened to the sound of the falls with great love and sadness. It reminded her to much of her home, by Crystal lake and Raging Falls. There, she, her brother, mother and father, had spent three long happy time together, before everything changed.

Twilight blinked, her blue eyes draped in tiredness. She sat on the rock in front of the waterfall, dozing. The mist landed on her pure white fur, making it shine like crystal. The moon gave a pale feature to everything, making it all look like a dream. The world spun a little, and Twilight shivered. Who knows, maybe she was still dreaming.

You are such a worry wart, Midnight. Twilight turned in horror as she heard something splash into the water as if in a dream. A pure white pup splashed around in the shallow water. Her beautiful blue eyes were shinning with light as she chased the moon's reflection. She seemed to have a whitish glow around her, as if she were a ghost. I have to worry, I am your big brother after all Twilight. Twilight looked back at the tree line. Standing there, the exact same as she could remember, was Midnight.

His fur was a dark, midnight black that seemed to shine with the moons light. His eyes were a leaf green, which he got from there father. He was always tall for his age, and always seemed to be a giant to Twilight.

The pup Twilight gave a laugh and splashed water at Midnight, who ducked the water with ease. You're no fun when I can't hit you. Twilight retorted, splashing a couple of more waves at Midnight, who dodged them all. Midnight laughed; sounding like the wind on a warm day. Trust me, soon you will be very better then me. Some day you will be faster then the eye can catch, and have more strength then a mountain.. The pup Twilight gave one final splash, hitting Midnight right in the face with a jet of water. And I will be able to blow fire out my ears too. Twilight laughed, rolling around in the water.

I would not put it past you. A large, silvery gray male stepped into sight. His deep green eyes stared lovingly at the two pups in front of him. Twilight knew this man well, her father. The pup Twilight gave a puppyish bark and bounded out of the water. Midnight also began to look more like a puppy as he ran to join his sister next to there father. But there seemed to be something wrong with him today. His eyes no longer held that bright light they usually did. Instead they were pale and worn, looking many years older.

I need to talk to you your brother alone. Twilight's father said quietly to the pup Twilight. The pup Twilight frowned, but did not argue. Instead she raced back to the water and began to swim in the deeper water. Several long minutes passed as her brother and father talked. Twilight could never here what they said.

Finally Midnight gave a shout of anger. No, no I won' do it, I won't. And I won't let you drag Twilight into this either. He spun around and raced to Twilight. Picking her out of the water by the scruff of the neck, he gave his father one final glare before turning around and racing away from the clearing.

As the world began to spin again, Twilight herd a voice say. Midnight. Midnight were are we going?

Twilight gave a jolt and almost fell off the rock she was laying on. All she could think about was his brother's face, and how sad her father had looked. She quickly turned to face them, but saw nothing. She raced to the spot were they had been sitting, but saw nothing. No, no it was a dream. Clearly there were no signs of there presence. Slowly Twilight walked over to the water's edge and sat down, staring out toward the lake and water fall.

Slowly the tears fell from her eyes, mixing with the memories that flooded from her heart.

(( Alright I was bored so I felt like posting this. If anyone has not guessed by now that was a dream Twilight just had, NOT REAL LIFE))
