A pierce of whiteness shone through the land as the Alphaess continued leadin the fae over to the land.. she smiled cheekily and looked over her shoulder... she raised her paw over her eyes due to the sunshine,the dreaded sunshine...to bright and cheery for her...
She hummed quietly to herself waiting and being alone was boring... she heard a bird copy her song... she laughed lightly and quickly stopped a light breeze shook her coat to one side...

Letti followed after, silently enjoying the sunlight that her new Alphess was currently cursing. The warmth ran over her like waves and the cool breeze did the same from the opposite side, making her bleak mood crack like glass would in the same conditions. She then stopped, stretching out and observing the other fae with a wary, now fully awake gaze. She had been silent for a long time after the Alphess had asked her questions, but now she thought it an appropriate time to answer.
"No, I did not say my name." She said, and a pause drew out where she should have said her name: but didn't. She would, eventually, but it went beyond her to say more than that. Anyhow, when she did reveal her name it would be her full one: she was reserving the nickname one particular fae she had great reason to remember had given her for her own private knowledge. If anyone here was to call her anything, it would be her full name, a foul name, or no name at all. Come to think of it, it would probably hurt a lot less if someone were to call her harlot than if someone were to call her Letti. With a pang she remembered something she thought she had forgotten completely: A very young male with a playful smile, who pronounced the name 'lotta'. She sighed at the happy memory with a rush of nolstalgia and shivered as another breeze blew over them, bringing her back to reality. Now was the time to answer the other question.
"I am not disappointed. I am meerly unsure if life in a pack will agree with me." She droned softly, staring off over the land. It was beautiful... wasn't that ironic? There was a hint of friendly, almost childish cordiality in her voice. It was... nice. This place was, in fact, very nice. Perhaps she might never easily get on well with the other wolves here, but there was wide enough space in the territory to avoid conflict.
Another long pause.
"Do you rule these lands alone?" She asked, suddenly aware of her flesh crawling. Please don't let there be an Alpha. She didn't deal well with wolves in general, males, or authoritives. In this case, it would be all three. Please, please, please don't let there be an Alpha. She thought again, silent with her inner plea.

"Sorry to disappoint you." A enormous male appeared like a dark shadow in the light, looming over the new wolf. His fur was black, with streaks of blood red hidden among the fur. His eyes were a cold gray with a tint of red glowing brightly. He stared down at the fae coldly, looking her over, examining her. He held his head high, his tail straight out like a banner. His fur stood up on end, making him look massive. The way he held his body showed the new wolf one thing, he was the alpha male of this land. He gave a low growl and slowly slinked closer to the new wolf. He circled the new wolf slowly, taking all of her in. He clearly did not give a care what the new fae thought.
"So," He said coldly, finally stopping his pacing, turning to look over at his mate. His eyes seemed to soften for a moment as he looked at her, his body less tense. "I guess you have already picked out newest member. Was she on the lands? Or was she were we met?" He gave the fae another glance, his eyes turning to stone again. "By the look on your face you do not agree with having males around." He said coldly. "Wonder why?" He said these last words in a cruel voice, trying to scare the wolf. His movements were quite sudden. With a sudden move he was inches away from the wolf, bearing down on her. "What is your name." He said in a hard voice. "If I were you I would answer. A wolf who does not answer a question from the alpha has no place in my pack, and no wolf leaves these pack lands alive.
He knew he was being harsh, but the fae would have to get used to it. He would have no weaklings in his pack. They either handled it or died, plain and simple.

Letti watched the brute, large and threatening, with a tense body and a wary eye. But her face didn't change. She said nothing, watching him move about, all straining muscle and well-trained hostility. No doubt it was in his nature. She couldn't imagine being made up of only one emotion entirely. And a negitive one, at that. Then she caught his glance in the Alphess' direction, and saw him soften--then let her perspective soften a little. And though her guard was just as up when he pounced forward, he still held those points in her eyes.
She'd been sitting upright, and had been looking at Zinerva when he leapt forward. She didn't jump or show any immediate reaction, but her skin crawled and she could feel her body take the shock quite badly. Her heart skipped a beat from surprise and now seemed to pound, but she didn't even turn to look at him. Outwardly, she was calm and dignified as a dream.
After a breif pause of still looking around the lands she turned her face slowly to look him in the eye, and saw that she shouldn't by any means underestimate him. He was, with no doubt, more than ten times her match physically. Anyone could see that from fifty feet away through fog. But no, he was intelligent as well. Cunning. Clever? She couldn't tell just yet. But cunning. She continued to look him up and down, collected and scrutinizing. Her manner wasn't rude, just indifferent and distant.
Finally she bowed her head slightly, still keeping her sharp eyes locked with his menacing ones, though none of the rest of her body moved as she did so. Once her head was bowed in the necessary respect, she allowed a small quirk of a smile.
"Let's just say I'm a hermaphrodite." She said nicely in return to his question about her bias against males, a hint of sarcasm in her voice. She was referring back to the day before, when she and another wolf happened to come upon that conclusion, however untrue it was. He needn't know that, though. For all she cared, he could think she was a unic.
Then she raised her head, though still keeping it tipped slightly downward.
"My name? What makes you assume that I have one?" She smiled jovially. Then she sighed, frowning. "Alright, I admit," She continued now with a serious, almost forlorn expression, gazing off into space. "My mother named me Farklefluff. Obviously, you can see that there are certain reprocussions to being named Farklefluff. It gave me so much trouble growing up: I am now, unfortunately, depressed." She put on a comical looking pout, "That's why I'm a Dark, you see." She said slowly, a sad hint to her voice. Another sad sigh, and she shook her head.

Jetfire loomed over her for a momment, his eyes studying her. She was clearly not weak, though he was much taller then her. She seemed to have strength, and was not a weak wolf. She also held her emotions well, he could see it in her eyes. The way she put a veil over them, well, was perfect. Slowly he drew back, his eyes still locked on hers. He could clearly see that it would take a lot to frighten her to show emotions, yet she knew her place.
Then he heard her name. His apperance did not change on the outside, though he did smile at the name on the inside. To be called that must have been a true terror at a young age. He wondered vaguly what kind of nut would call a child that. He could see it a as a nickname; one of those cute little ones that moms used when you were very young. But as a real name. He had been lucky at least, to have been given a proper pup name when he had been young. He had recieved the name Jet, for his quick emotions and movements. He would have recieved a proper title at his naming serimony.
The thought of that night made Jetfire's blood boil. The red on his fur and in his eyes blazed with a sudden light, giving off a errie glow. He looked even more terrifying as the curse showed itself. He gave a low growl, taking a deep breath. Slowly the red lost its errie glow, though it still stood out more against his fur and in his eyes. He even looked a little different. He seemed to gain this tired look, though he showed no weakness with it. It simply looked as if he had been running from something for a long time.
"Mmm, well a name can always be fixed." He said gruffly, starring at the name. "I myself had to give myself a proper adult name. You can do the same." He walked over to his mate and caught her eyes, giving a nod. "You found a good wolf, i aprove of her joining the pack." He did not say she could, like it was his decision. Zinerva had every right to pick a wolf to join the pack, even if he did not like it. He could make the wolf's life a living hell, but he would be in the pack all the same.
"I am weary." He said quietly to Zinerva, walking foward as he did. "I am going to sleep. As for you." He raised his voice so the fae could here. "Choose a name, or tell me a name you would like to be called. I will have no one in my pack being called Flaklefluff!"

Zinerva noticed the Alpha come forward...she sighed as they began to chat over things... she metioned her name was Farklefuff...she giggled quitely as she waited to be adressed...
Soon after her mate was leaving, as he told her,she then decided to to stay with the fae for awhile to help her choose a name.. she switched over and walked towards her... "what about the name Elphaba? Or maybe Broken star...oooo what about Etain? ' sh continued on.. she got excited about choosing names....
she looked over watchiing her mate leave she said her good bye's and returned to the Fae

Letti watched his eyes flare with some horrible thought and held herself back from asking if the word 'Fluff' offended him. No, she knew it was probably just some stray memory that opened an old, angry wound. Though a wolf being named Farklefluff? She couldn't imagine what sort of bad memory that could bring up. Huh. She didn't want to even guess. She watched him move away, and allowed herself a small smile. A real one. All in all, there was a huge difference between her fake smiles and her real ones, no matter how good an actress she was. Her real smile was a very innocent, merry one. Her fake smile was a jolly smirk.
She had every reason for a real smile, now, as she prided herself on a great success. She'd evaded revealing her real name, and in the process revealed something very important about her new Alpha: If he was so quick to believe in honesty, then he was by any means, an honest wolf, himself. Her birth name was Thafirah. She remembered it because it was a twist on her mother's name, 'Zafira', which meant 'She who wins'. She couldn't quite remember all of the other names she'd had throughout her life, except for Alectrona, which was the name given to her when she came into her father's care. She'd regarded that her entire life as her real name. So far, those who didn't know her name got one of her rare little lies.
She turned to Zinerva, still smiling. She was immedaitely warmed at the sight of her Alphess getting excited like a young pup. At first she had seemed unfriendly and impulsive. Perhaps Letti had been wrong about her. "Elphaba," she said decidedly. "I like that name."

"what a perfectly lovely choice...' she said acting happy.. then stopping.."Well Elphaba what do you propose we do now?" she said walking in a circle and sitting on a rock. She looked about her lands,she was proud...
"So what do you think of Jetfire?" she said smiling and scratching her nose with her poaw..."You can be truly honest....Elphaba...."
" she streched her back and tilted her head to the sky.. waiting for her friend to answer her ,coild she consider her a friend? or a alliance.. she pondered and contineued with her strech

Letti settled down in the grass, surprised at how quickly the new name was growing on her. She stretched out her paws in front of her lazily, placing her head down and staring at a catapillar that was slowly but surely climbing a long piece of glass in front of her. She smiled a little brighter as it began began reaching the top--and then the top started bending, but the daft little thing kept going, until it was at the top and the top was at the bottom. Then it got off the grass, the grass sprung back up, and the catapillar began making his journey back towards the base of it. Poor thing. How long had it been going in circles like that?
She completely missed Zinerva's first question, but she caught the second one. With a devilish smirk she averted her eyes upward to stare mischeviously at her new Alphess, without moving her chin from it's position on the ground. She was perfectly poised to tease.
With a moan of mock pleasure she rolled onto her back, stretching her front paws into the air. "Oh yes, he's wonderful!" She sighed lovingly, attempting to hold back from laughing. "He's so handsome, and charming and I'm positively in LOVE with him!" She cried out, rolling over abruptly to see the look on Zinerva's face. Then she couldn't hide it in any longer, and burst out laughing. When she'd finally calmed herself, her expression went serious. "I appologize, I tend to have a rather quirky sense of humor. He's... alright, I guess." She said, calm and sincere.

A large hawk flew over the two female wolves, staring at them. His wings were a dark brown, almost black color. His eyes were a beady black, and his large, pointy yellow beak held a tint or red. So, this is Master Jetfire's mate and pack member. He said in a raspy voice landing softly on the grass next to the two wolves. This makes Hawkdemon pleased to see that he now has a mistress. He bowed low to Zinerva, his beak almost touching the ground. I am Hawkdemon, humble servant of your mate Master Jetfire. A couple of years back my master proved himself to the leader of my kin, living on a mountain side. As a reward, he gave me as his servant, and I have been doing his biding ever since. He gave Zinerva a look with his black, beady eyes, then continued. Master had food from a buck waiting for Mistress and lady, if they are hungry, out in the forest he is, taking his hate out on the leader of the herd again. Master never goes for the weak, no he does not, it must always be the strong bucks.

"I am a tad peckish.." she said to the bird, sighing..."Well HawkDemon,I am Zinerva,and I shall follow," she turned behind..."You too Elphaba?" she said signling her head the other way... starting off.
The wind tossed her hair and she shook a few leaves from her fur.. waiting for Elphaba's response..."Hawkdemon,Thank you for the bow,Jetfire siad I deserve to live like a queen." she said happily,pleased with her own power...

Letti quirked a brow. "Servant?" She asked, a tad repelled by the idea. "By what standard did he have to prove himself to deserve a life to be lavished on him as if it were a giftbox?" She muttered, hardly impressed with the notion that this bird practically belonged to her new pack. But then she began to follow Zinerva, giving her odd looks every once and a while. Talk about being pleased with one's position in life. She thought to herself, watching Hawkdemon precariously.

Hawkdemon gave Elphaba a fierce look, fluffing out his wings. Master Jetfire did a great dead for my group, the Mountain Clan a couple years ago. He said feircly. A rabid bear wandered onto are nesting sight and started a great rampage. Master Jetfire came and with no fear for his own life, killed it. He then told are leader that he needed a guide. I was the lead of the scentries at that time and our leader choose me to guide him. He blinked, then said. I guess the word 'servant' was not the one I should have used. I choose to stay with Master Jetfire, just like you choose to be in his pack. I and the rest of my kin owe there lives to him, and you would do good to remeber that.
He gave a hop of annoince, then calmed down. He gave a bow to each of them and said. Come, Master Jetfire is in one of his moods, we should go to the killing sight. He spread his wings and took off before either wolf could speak. He soared toward the forest and then back, showing them the way.
((When you leave go to the tumble of thoughts post because that it were Jetfire hunted. At least i think that is what i called it.))

Echo trotted along the edge of the tree's and towards the group tail up head high,"This may be their terra now but soon that rule will be changed" Echo said as he ran along.He trotted up to the Alphess as glared at her,seeing if she was much of a challenge.Aleu ran up behind him and gave him a hard nip,"ECHO THIS IS NOT OUR TERRA DONT ACT LIKE IT!" Aleu growled at him,she was in one of her moods."We have to go and find our own terra,We cant steal from them!" Aleu added more softly "I'm going to have my pups anytime now Echo we need to go now!" Aleu ordered.
