Death, her body lowered to the ground, her belly almost touching it, crept through the tall grass, hunting a large buck. She caught a wiff of wolves and an injured doe, glad that she was upwind of them. She decided that it would not be the best idea to attack the deer, because the smell of blood was strong to wolves, even upwind. She turned to leave, and in her rush, carelessly stepped on a twig. The buck heard it, viewing her as a threat, and charged. She supressed her growl, knowing that the nearby wolves would hear it. She could only hope that the buck didn't- too late. The buck made it's cry of intense fury, hurtling towards her, and she found herself dodging four deadly hooves. Once she was out of their range, the buck chased her to a tree, walking straight into her trap. She snarled at it as it lunged for her once more, it's antlers aimed at ehr head, but she quickly ducked, not even flinching as bark rained down on her from the buck hitting the tree. In her position under the buck, she was able to easily leap up and sink her teeth into the bucks neck, killing it, and moved out of the way as she watched the large buck fall. She turned to face the wolves that she was sure were waiting there for her.
